The Executive Edition of the Sherman tank with the T34 Calliope multi-missile launcher mounted on it is a set that COBI fans have been waiting for for years! The set also includes a unique figurine of a French gendarme that will surely delight the hearts of fans who appreciate TV productions. The M4 Sherman is the main American medium tank of World War II. Produced in 1942-1945, it became the most famous American tank. The T34 Calliope was a 60-tube launcher firing 114.3mm M8 rockets. The entire structure of the guides was made of plywood. It was a one-off design and was removed after all missiles were fired. The advantage of the Werfer was the large number of rockets fired, with better performance than the German equivalent of the Nebelwerfer. The disadvantages include not the best accuracy of the missiles and the way they were mounted on the tank, which posed a significant threat to the crew in the event of an urgent evacuation. Calliope was developed in 1943 and around 200 were produced. It was used, among other things, in the American 2nd Armored Division in France. The block-based Sherman has been produced in a large 1:28 scale, allowing for more detail to be recreated! The tank features a movable gun, rotating turret, opening hatch and working track system. The turret is equipped with the T34 Calliope multi-tube rocket launcher, which consists of 60 tubes. Special new elements have been designed to build it! All graphic details are high-quality prints that do not wear out even with intensive play. The advantage is the design, which uniquely reproduces the original forms of its historical model. There are additional accessories on top of the tank that represent the vehicle's cargo and can be used by minifigures that represent the tank's crew. Of particular note are the perfectly reproduced figures of the tank commander and the characteristic French gendarme. You can see heroes worthy of iconic cinema and television productions. The whole set is complemented by a black collector's plate with the name of the set printed on it.
